Charlie’s Beach House

Great communication, very well equipped and very clean.

We had to vacate our home to have interior walls painted and needed a home for 5 adults and 2 indoor cats! Charlie’s Beach House was just great for us to stay and not far from the best beaches in Byron. The house is in a safe, quiet area. Thanks for a great stay!

Great location and easy walk into town . Pet friendly , which is great, but part of the fence is in disrepair , so not secure to contain your dog.

Walking distance to town and hosts (Byron bay beach houses) were super easy to communicate with.

Fantastic location and the house was perfect for our family of 5 and dog. The back garden is fenced however our small cavoodle good escape through gaps in and under the fence. It was still ok but the dog had to be locked inside at all times.

Great family stay with my daughter and my sister’s two girls during the school holidays. Excellent location and an easy walk everywhere. The bonus was being able bring my golden retriever as the backyard is fenced and the property is pet friendly. We would stay here again.

Awesome place and even better area

The vibe of the place exceeded expectations we had based on the photos. Super short walk to the centre of town and a lovely, homely feel to it with great decor. Would definitely come back!

We loved staying at Charlie's Beach House. It was the perfect location and just a short walk to the middle of Byron. Just what we were looking for! The hosts were super responsive and super flexible with our last minute check in and check out requests. We would 150% recommend Charlie's Beach House and we will stay here again. Loved our stay here, so central and accessible to the main street and restaurants etc. Place looked exactly like photos. Really helpful and responsive host. We would definitely recommend, and stay again. FYI if you do take a big dog or one that jumps, the back garden fencing is very low in places. Fortunately we didn’t have any issues and our border collie loved it as much as we did.

Great location. Basic house but has all you need.

We had a really good time staying in this house. We had some problems with the internett, but they answered and tried to help us - it came back the day after.
One of the bedrooms was really hot without aircondition, but it was okay.
The communication was great, and the house was so cosy. Great place.

Beautiful, clean home a short walk away from Byron's centre

We stayed 3 nights in beach house.
Perfect location, close to everything that Byron Bay has to offer.
Market on Thursday was great and only short walk away. So as the beach and all restaurants and shops.
Although house was clean and beds were somewhat comfortable, it is a very outdated property.
Shower head was very old and was about to fell off.
BBQ starting button did not work, we had to run to the woolies to get matches.
Freestanding stove, even though it worked, it was old and rusty, same as the oven.
Fans in all rooms were operating on only one very high speed.
Garden area needs big attention, fence has been build from bits and pieces so it’s barely stands.
Grass is barely existing. Washer and dryer shed is old and not really pleasant to use.
This place, as is, not worth the money we spend per night.
But if was brought up to the next level, it would have been an absolute gem.

A group of us stayed here to attend a wedding in Byron Bay. This place was in a great spot - really close to the bus exchage which is where the wedding bus picked us up. I'd definitely recommend it for short group stays.

So happy with our stay! Location is fantastic and there was heaps to do! Weather you want a relaxed stay or go out to explore restaurants and shops - even walking to local parks and the beach was great no need to drive anywhere. . My family stayed so there was 6-7 of us throughout the week and we had the best time! We hooked our computer up to the tv in the main room to play Netflix and in the bedrooms you can login to Netflix on those tvs. Not that we needed tv much at all. Easy to cook in the kitchen or go out by walking to the Byron beach hotel!
Our pup also had the best time! He’s a border collie and loved it.
Just note there isn’t desert bowls but everything else is pretty much there if you bring your groceries and also a light clothes basket would be good if you want to do some laundry. 😃 Other then that, a fabulous stay! My dad was able to work while there and I could also study with great reception and space. Rooms are spacious and fun.

Great place

Excellent location, very close to main shops and beach. Quiet street and no bother from neighbours. Easy access and spacious bedrooms.

Can’t beat the location of the cottage, less than a five minute walk to town. It’s nice and quiet in the area too.
As other reviewers have said, some basics like salt and pepper and oil would be great.
There isn’t much to pass the time if the weather isn’t great, so bring your own board games and devices to watch movies etc.
